Panasonic Upgrades with Internet protocol TV in Nigeria

Electronics and home appliances company, Panasonic, in conjunction with Panaserve Nigeria Limited, its authorized distributor, has unveiled the Internet Protocol television in the country.
This was the central point of Panasonic annual dealers’ convention in Lagos on Friday, where the company’s 2012 model consumer electronics products were showcased to the public.
Speaking at the convention, Panasonic promoter in Nigeria and Panaserve Managing Director, Mr. Suraj Rupani, said the new series of Internet Protocol television models provided easy access to a variety of Internet services and web entertainment such as Skype, Youtube, SHoutcast, Ustream WoW Tv, Facebook, Twitter, and daily motion, among other web-based services.
Also lined up were other products such as the Smart Viera infotainment television series, 2012 models of Blue-Ray disc players, Blue-Ray home theatre systems, powerful clear sound music system, and mini Audio systems, among others.
Rupani said with Smart Viera, users could watch a live broadcast and Skype at the same time,  adding, “Viera’s remote application with swipe and share functions make it possible to use a smartphone to  potentially stream pictures to the large Viera TV. In recent years, Panasonic had diversified its product range in Nigeria and to now consists air conditioners , fans, kitchen appliances, refrigerators, microwaves, blenders, rice cookers, vacuum cleaners, new generation digital cameras, high definition camcorders, promonitor head phones, DVD mimi system, LCD/LED/3D/Plasma flat screen televisions, blue-ray DVDs, home theatres and more”
“The 2012 model air conditioning technology, ECONAVI dual sensor and Super Alleru Buster filler, is completely inspired by nature with emphasis on energy conservation and optimal performance.”
According to him, Panasonic electronic has always aimed towards customer satisfaction by ensuring improvement in the quality and standard of its products and services.
“We remain the most reliable in temperate regions like Nigeria with our highly durable super tropical compressor, which has been tested and proven,” he aded
Rupani said Panasonic had continued to invest a lot into research and development with the aim of creating new products for its consumers.
The dealers’ convention, which doubled as an exhibition of Panasonic’s latest entries, witnessed the display of the new Smart Viera Infotainment Television Series encompassing 3D, LED, LCD and Plasma.
Rupani said the annual convention was to review its brand presence in the country.
This, he said, had further underscored its commitment and belief in Nigeria as a growing regional economic power in Africa.
